I love reading other authors’ works and I can’t wait for the next instalment in this series by Sarah Earl! The rise of darkness is fast-paced, action-packed novel follows the adventures of Chronicler, Kess Grayson as she battles the rising evil that stalks her – and threatens the world. Her unique and mysterious heritage – which she discovers as events unfold – marks her as a target. For darkness to triumph, it must either destroy Kess or enslave her and use her gifts to gain its victory. Kess must outwit her demons if she’s to live long enough to confront the darkness and save her friends.
The Rise of Darkness is a highly imaginative, and beautifully written novel, full of twists and turns.
